I’m thinking about starting early to bang out the Mojave, then maybe Oregon, then Northern California/the Sierra (when it’s less treacherous) and then finish with Washington. Would it bother me not to do it in a straight shot?

So for the next year or so, I’m going to dedicate my blog mainly to preparing for my solo northbound journey on the PCT in 2012. I’m planning on starting at the Mexican border in April and ending at the Canadian terminus in October (or earlier if possible!).
